Why should you NOT Travel – A List of Excuses!

Most of us look forward to taking time off from work and home, and head to some place exotic to rejuvenate ourselves. However, there are people who would rather stay home and cook up ridiculous excuses not to travel! Can you imagine someone not being bitten by the travel bug? It’s true, there is such a species!

The excuses people make up can be defined as nonsensical, crazy and sometimes downright idiotic! Here’s a glimpse of what they think are reasons for not stepping out of home sweet home:

Out of Budget
This is one of the most common excuses we hear from people – which they can’t afford it. Well, will someone please let them know that no one is sending them to the moon? Travelling doesn’t mean visiting far off destinations; it could just be a weekend break, or even a bus ride to the next town! As far as accommodation goes, there are tons of places in the world to stay for budget travellers. Hostels, home stays, shared apartments, budget hotels – the list goes on and on!

No Time
Really now, are you the Prime Minister? Even he takes vacations, by the way. It is humanly not possible to be so busy that you can’t take a break. And even if you think you are, it is time that you made time for yourself and go head to a new place to catch your breath. Besides, in the day and age of smart phones and tablets, you can still keep a tab on your work, no matter where you are.

I Need Company
Okay, agreed it is always great to go out with friends and family, but sometimes, travelling solo is all you need to get a different perspective to things. It is amazing to be out on your own, exploring a new place without someone bickering in your ear. You can do what you want, when you want and go wherever you want to go. It is great to be independent and make your own decisions. Besides, you can always make new friends!

Too Old to Travel
Come on, you can never be too old to see the world! What have you been saving up for, all your life? There are tons of places that you can go to that are senior friendly. As long as you’re young at heart, sky’s the limit!
