London's Brookside Theatre is offering the chance to find out more about the notorious Jack the Ripper.
An Audience with Jack Ripper will discuss the various ideas surrounding the historic criminal, who is thought to have killed five prostitutes during 1888 in the capital.
The evening is presented by ex-police detective Trevor Marriot and tells of his hunt to find out the truth about Jack. Marriot has been developing theories about the killer since 2002 and has uncovered what he believes is vital new evidence.
Of course, the event is not for the faint-hearted as it features images of the crime scenes and the post-mortems but it is ideal for those staying in central London hotels that are fascinated by the criminal figure.
Brookside Theatre will be presenting the event for one night only on Feburary 2nd and tickets cost £10 each.
The London Dungeons is also an ideal destination for those fascinated by Jack the Ripper. One of London's most popular attractions, the is located next to the entrance to London Bridge mainline and Underground station. Visitors can enjoy 14 live shows performed by actors as well as three different rides during their visit.
All of the attractions are based on the past 1,000 years of London's history including events such as the Great Fire of London, the Black Death and the 18th century courtrooms – where the punishments were unpredictable and often lethal.
Admission on the door costs £24 for adults and £18.60 for those aged 15 and under or tickets can be booked online for £6 and £10.
