It may still be winter, but music fans across the country are already looking ahead to a fantastic summer of music festivals, with line-ups beginning to emerge for some of Britain's top multi-day outdoor concert events.
Among last year's highlights was Wireless Festival, which saw the likes of Jay Z and Justin Timberlake perform at Finsbury Park in London.
If you thought the acts on show at that particular festival were of a high calibre then you'll be delighted to hear that the event's organisers have put together an equally impressive line-up for the 2014 edition.
Taking place from July 4th to 6th, Wireless will see the likes of Kanye West – whose recent album Yeezus was one of the best-selling records of 2013 – take to the stage to fill the headline slot on the opening night.
Also playing on day one will be Pharrell Williams, who scored a massive hit last year when he collaborated with French dance duo Daft Punk on the enormously popular song Get Lucky.
British outfit Basement Jaxx – whose repertoire of songs includes the likes of Red Alert, Good Luck, Romeo and Where's Your Head At, among others – will be playing on July 4th as well, making this a hell of an opening day to what promises to be a truly memorable festival.
The great acts keep coming across the rest of the weekend, with Canadian rapper Drake headlining the Saturday night, but only after other great artists like Azealia Banks and Rudimental have shown what they can do.
Sunday night will see the festival close with a bang, as headliner Bruno Mars is joined by special guests Outkast, following a performance from Ellie Goulding.
Located in north-east London, Finsbury Park is on the Victoria Line of the tube network and can be reached in as little as 15 minutes from the city centre.
