The London Fashion Weekend is the capital’s main event for fashionistas enjoying London hotel deals.
Whereas the London Fashion Week is a trade-only affair, the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend is aimed at consumers looking to discover the latest trends on the catwalk. Taking place from September 20th to September 23rd, Somerset House is the host for the whole event.
This year there are two types of runway shows to purchase tickets for. The Trend Shows focus on a number of designers and their autumn/winter 2012 collections, while the Designer Highlight shows will feature just one top British designer.
Tickets can be pre-booked via the organiser’s website although seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis so people need to arrive early to get the best view.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the special Vodafone London Fashion Weekend Show Bag. A reusable canvas bag it is filled with a number of samples from top beauty brands including Elizabeth Arden, Roc, Kurt Geiger and St Tropez.
For those looking to do a bit of shopping, there is also the opportunity to buy items from a whole host of designers from established names to emerging brands.
New for 2012 is a special Shoe Space in the East Wing of Somerset House. People can browse a selection of footwear from top names such as Finsk, French Sole and Love from Australia.
Meanwhile, Levi’s are returning for the third year with its special Curve ID store. The pop-up shop offers people the opportunity to find the perfect pair of jeans with the help of Levi’s fitting staff. There is even a special cocktail bar, so you can enjoy a drink while waiting for your perfect jeans to be found.
