Merrily We Roll Along to hit the West End in April

After an extremely successful run off the West End in London, Merrily We Roll Along has been picked up for a 12-week stay at the Harold Pinter Theatre from April.

The production received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike during its run at the Menier Chocolate Factory and now it is hoped this success can be replicated on the bigger stage.

This hit has been thrilling audiences with its “electrically alive” (Independent) performances and it was the winner of the 2012 Critics’ Circle Best Musical award.

Maria Friedman – triple Olivier Award-winner – made her extraordinary directorial debut with this production and she was aided by outstanding performances from the cast, which is set to return for the switch to the West End.

Indeed, Mark Umbers, Damian Humbley and Jenna Russell will all be back to charm the audiences, who are sure to come in their droves.

A weekend spent in one of the luxury hotels in London could be made even better with a trip to the Harold Pinter Theatre to see this production.

Set over three decades in the entertainment business, Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between three friends Franklin, Charley and Mary.

Beginning in 1980 and travelling backwards in time, this story will have audiences captivated from the very start.

Visitors to the city will be able to get their hands on tickets for one of the performances – running from April 23rd to July 27th – from as little as £10, with the best seats in the house setting people back £85.

With the theatre situated in a central London location, people will find it is easy to get to on the Tube as it is very close to Piccadilly Circus.
