More massive London gigs announced for this summer

With so many fantastic concerts and music festivals taking place in London this summer, it’s already shaping up to be one hell of a year in the capital, and things have just got even better thanks to the fact even more global superstars have recently announced details of London shows over the coming months.

For example, White Stripes and Raconteurs frontman Jack White will be appearing at the Hammersmith Apollo on July 5th, where he will be performing tracks from his new album Lazaretto. Known for his edgy guitar riffs and Deep-South-inspired style, White is one of the biggest names in rock music and will be playing in the capital for the first time in two years – so if you’re a fan and have been waiting for him to return to London then now is your chance to see him in action.

However, if Jack White’s music is a little too heavy for your liking then you may be interested to hear that Stevie Wonder has also recently announced details of an upcoming London show, with the funk and soul star having now been added to the Calling Festival line-up. Taking place in Clapham Common on June 28th and 29th, the event will see Aerosmith play the headline slot on the first night and Stevie Wonder on the second, meaning there really will be something to suit all musical tastes at this fantastic festival.

Yet that’s not all, as hip-hop fans also have plenty to look forward to this summer – not least because legendary rap troupe Public Enemy have recently made it known that they will be performing at Electric Brixton on June 7th. Having been at the forefront of the industry for more than three decades, the group is considered to be among the leading pioneers of the genre, and are known for always putting on a great show.

If you plan on attending one of these fantastic summer concerts then you’ll need somewhere comfortable to rest your head afterwards, and with London boasting some of the world’s top luxury hotels London, finding the right place for you shouldn’t be a problem.
