A creative space in Hackney is presenting two weeks of Christmas-themed movies as part of a short festival.
The event will run until December 19th and is ideal for families staying in central London hotels during December.
All of the classic films will be screened at Netil House during the festival and will include popular festive hits such as Die Hard, The Muppets Christmas Carol, Love Actually, Miracle on 34th Street, Santa Claus the Movie and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
There is also a double bill on December 16th of the first two Home Alone films that are perfect for the kids.
While enjoying the screenings, the audience are invited to relax on comfy sofas or relax on beanbags while enjoying a free glass of mulled wine or hot cider.
There are also plenty of festive food goodies on offer such as mince pies, candy canes and chocolate logs.
Afternoon screenings cost £11.50 for adults and £9 for children and tickets for the evening films cost £12.50 per person for each screening.
Netil House is a short distance from Bethnal Green London Underground station on the Central Line. The venue is described as a creative space and provides studios for artists and other craftspeople to rent. There is also a regular market held at Netil House that sells a collection of vintage and handmade products – ideal for anyone shopping for some unusual presents for family and friends.
The Christmas Film Festival is being organised by the same people behind the successful Rooftop Film Club. Experience Cinema aims to show classic and new movies in alternative and unusual venues around the capital.
