Though the economic weather around the world is not favourable, but it has not stopped people from shopping in the retail shops. London is a favourite shopping destination for many tourists. Some of the famous shopping centres in London are stated below and the things that can shop there.

Whiteleys
It is the oldest shopping centre in London. The shopping centre has got boost because of the Odeon cinema, and more importantly The Lounge, a new eatery with meal prepared by Rowley Leigh of Le Café Anglais fame. The possibility of sampling steak sliders, goat’s dairy cheese on hazelnut toast and comforting desserts will be a treat. At Whiteleys, you can enjoy shopping in the high-end shops like Zara, Gap and Muji.

Westfield Shepherds wilderness and Stratford town
The Australian group’s first London task was in Shepherds wilderness. Opening in late 2008 was a masterstroke, and despite the recession Christmas shoppers do not hesitate buying. In 2011, the second and larger Westfield opened in Stratford. This was more of because of the revamp after the Olympics. High end shopping stores and numerous food chains makes it favourite place. If you enjoy shopping in American style, then you will definitely enjoy your time.
St. Martin’s Courtyard
Settled in a courtyard between Covent Garden and Leicester Square, lies a range of upmarket stores, where you will find Massimo Dutti, Jaeger and The White Company amidst others. At the least, you can enjoy dining in the restaurants offering something new, especially Bombay café Dishoom and Thai eatery Suda. This is a very famous shopping place for most people.
