One of the world's most highly respected yet enigmatic musicians is set to play a series of gigs in London in the very near future, although details about the shows are yet to be released.
Prince is set to land in the UK on February 3rd, and has promised to perform on several occasions and at a number of locations around the capital shortly after arriving, so if you'd like to see the singer live then keep an eye out for any news on tickets and venues.
So far, all that has been revealed is that the artist will be playing at various "iconic venues in and around London", accompanied by his all-female backing band, 3rdEyeGirl.
With massive hits like Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Cream and many more in his repertoire, Prince is widely considered to be one of the greatest living recording artists, and his live shows are always extremely well received by fans.
It's been two and a half years since he last performed on British soil, and of you weren't lucky enough to get a ticket for that particular show then you may want to play close attention to any announcements that are made about the upcoming gigs, with a press statement saying: "Details about the event are very hush-hush at this time but as we find out more, you [the public] will be the 2nd ones to know."
As always, Prince is sure to play many of his crowd-pleasing hits at the shows, although audiences will also be given the chance to hear some of his latest work, with the concerts being launched to support the release of his latest album, PlectrumElectrum.
Rumours have already started circulating that some of the shows could be taking place at venues such as Wembley Arena and the O2 Arena, although so far nothing has been confirmed.
