London is home to some of the most iconic sporting venues in the world, and as such has become something of a mecca for sports fans around the world.
While getting tickets to a top event such as Premiership football matches can sometimes be a little tricky due to the high demand, there's no reason to miss out on the glory when you're in the capital.
That's because many of the city's most famous arenas offer fantastic guided tours that let visitors get closer to the action than ever before.
Among these is Wembley Stadium – perhaps the most famous sporting stage on the planet.
Sports fans can get the chance to sit in the players' changing rooms, imitate England manager Roy Hodgson by having their photo taken in the press room – where he gives his press conferences – and visit the Royal Box.
On top of this, participants in the tour are able to walk down the tunnel and onto the hallowed turf itself, following in the footsteps of a number of sporting legends.
They will then climb the 107 steps to the spot where victorious captains are presented with their trophies, and get the chance to lift the FA Cup.
Tennis fans, meanwhile, can enjoy an equally memorable experience by taking a tour of the grounds at Wimbledon.
The route takes in some of the most exclusive spots in the famous SW19 venue, including the players' dressing rooms, Centre Court, No.1 Court and the press interview room.
In addition, the Wimbledon Museum contains a number of fascinating displays and items, including the trophies themselves.
Other top sporting venues in London to offer guided tours include Arsenal's Emirates Stadium and Chelsea's Stamford Bridge, while cricket fans can also enjoy a similar experience at the legendary Lord's Cricket Ground.
