Tech fans set to attend the Gadget Show Live

Technology buffs will no doubt be heading in their droves to London this winter as The Gadget Show Live Christmas is set to be held in the capital.

From 30th November until 2nd December, the ExCel London venue in east London will be home to a number of the biggest tech companies from across the world, including Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony.

Visitors staying in 5 Star Hotels London will be able to see, try and purchase some of the craziest gadgets on display at the 150-plus exhibition stands.

There are so many highlights to the show, including the Super Theatre, the HUB theatre and the Gadget Show Studio.

The venue will be divided into zones, with the Active Zone showcasing some of the most popular product groups featured on popular Channel 5 TV show.

Exhibitors will be displaying technology used for camping, sport, personal transport and fitness will be found in the Active Zone.

Meanwhile, children and big kids-alike will be heading down to the Toy Zone to check out flying gadgets, as well as toys from Lego, Wow! Stuff and ProMech Racing.

The games industry is particularly well represented at this year’s event, with Nintendo set to launch the Wii U console and retailers Game and Overclockers also exhibiting.

“We are overwhelmed by the support the games industry has shown to the Gadget Show Live Christmas,” said Matt Hodgins, event director at Gadget Show Live Christmas.

“We believe this is the first time in many, many years that all three console manufacturers have exhibited at such a large scale at the same public event in the UK and we are honoured to provide them with a vehicle to reach up to 30,000 gamers in the key pre-Christmas selling period.

“Electronic Arts has already confirmed its presence and we will soon be announcing some additional publishers offering free to play access to some of the biggest titles released this year.”

The event is the sister show to Gadget Show Live, which has been held every year at the NEC centre in Birmingham each Easter since 2009.
