The four-day event aims to showcase the wide variety of attractions and experiences that the capital can offer those staying in central London hotels.
As well as the London mayor’s official promotional body, London & Partners, there will also be a number of other tourist-related organisations exhibiting at the event to help promote the UK city. It is expected that more than 150 exhibitors will be attending the market, with many focusing on the number of great tourist attractions in London.
Organisations such as the English Heritage and the National Trust as well as The View From the Shard and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not will be playing a key role in promoting the city of London.
UK leisure tourism marketing manager, Louisa Jackley, said: “Once again we are delighted to be exhibiting at this pivotal event for the travel industry.
“This year the spotlight has been shining on London highlighting existing landmarks and attractions including Buckingham Palace, the Botanic Gardens at Kew and the EDF Energy London Eye as well as new ones such as The Shard, the Lee Valley White Water Centre and of course the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.”
She added that the special event would help attract even more people to the city during 2013, especially following the success of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The ExCel Centre is one of London’s top conference venues and is well placed for those staying at central London hotels. The venue is close to either Custom House or Prince Regent stations on the DLR service.
