Bombay Sapphire sponsors imagination events at V&A
Bombay Sapphire has announced that it will continue its imagination series at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
The dry gin makers are offering late night Friday visitors to the museum a chance to try new cocktails at its newly unveiled Imagination Bar - an ideal event for museum lovers staying in luxury London hotels.
Visitors will be offered a selection of creative recipes while they can take in the V&A Summer Camp Friday Lates events - a series of evenings celebrating innovation and design.
Designed to inspire guests, the imagination bar appears to ape Victorian decor, with wood features and etched mirrors.
However, when visitors get a closer look as they go to prop themselves at the bar, they will see that the front is actually a visual trick based on perspective.
Approaching the bar, the fascade appears to pull apart as its true shape comes into focus.
The V&A Summer Camp will be held on the last Friday of August and September and offers the chance for museum visitors to learn new skills, take part in master classes, workshops, games and talks for free.
Augusts' event will explore the concepts of designers, while September's evening is about crafting and making.
A series of lectures will be delivered by designers Alex Rich and Jurg Lehni, who will be accompanied by robots that draw objects they discuss.
Additionally, visitors will also be able to make their own chair in a workshop with furniture designer Jerszy Seymour.
