Children will love to visit London's Enchanted Christmas House
The London Art House is creating a magical festive experience next month that will appeal to families staying in central London hotels.
The Enchanted Christmas House in north London will open on December 1st and promises a fun filled time of festive activities as well as a visit to Santa's grotto.
Aimed at children from one to 14, visitors will enter the house through the Garden of Wonder, where that can take part in karaoke, dress-up or meet a whole host of Disney characters.
The next step on the three-hour experience is the Gingerbread Kitchen, where children can decorate Christmas-themed biscuits with various sprinkles and sweets – while being entertained by dancing mice.
Then comes the highlight of the visit, a chance to meet Mr and Mrs Santa Claus and receive a festive gift from the man himself.
Finally, the visit ends with the chance to take part in interactive play, which this year is the Scary Fairy and the Clever Christmas Pud and tells the story of a a tooth fairy who is jealous of Santa Claus and his mince pies.
Admission starts from £59 per person and the house is open until Christmas Eve. Entry also includes mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine for the grown-ups.
A review in Familiesnorth described last year's event as: “A wonderful setting, with plenty of Santa's helpers to guide you through a fun packed schedule from gingerbread decorating and storytelling, to festive, sparkly arts and crafts, plus a meeting with the big man himself.
"A very theatrical experience, where the children get involved in helping to make sure everything will be ready in time for Christmas Eve."
The London Art House is near Angel and Highbury & Islington London Underground stations.
