Foodies Festival comes to London's Battersea Park
Luxury London hotel guests will find plenty of gastronomic delights to tickle their taste buds in the capital, from Michelin-starred restaurants to bustling food markets.
But in July, they will really be in for a treat, as the annual Foodies Festival will be arriving in Battersea Park to celebrate the city's culinary talent.
Local producers will be pitching up their stalls from July 29th to 31st to sell fresh seasonal produce and top-quality ingredients.
There will also be hands-on food and drink masterclasses led by industry experts, where visitors can try cupcake making, oyster shucking and whisky tasting.
Award-winning chefs will be cooking up a storm in the live action theatre, passing on tips and inspiration and taking questions from the audience.
Top London restaurants will also be serving up taster portions of their signature dishes, which could help visitors decide where to go for dinner during their gourmet city break in the capital.
As well as the food and the shopping, there will be live music to keep the crowds entertained while they sip their cocktails and enjoy their sample dishes.
Battersea Park is situated just a couple of miles south of Marble Arch and The Montcalm hotel, across the River Thames.
It is considered to be one of London's most interesting green spaces and is home to a large lake, attractive gardens, a wide range of sporting facilities and even a children's zoo.
Battersea Park plays host to numerous outdoor events each year. Those visiting the capital in October will be able to shop for exclusive works, including paintings, sculpture and photography, at the Affordable Art Fair.
Held from October 20th to 23rd, it will feature free workshops and activities, a wine bar and a children's creche, and all of the artwork on sale will be priced below £4,000.
