James Bond vehicles to go on display in London
London may be the home of James Bond, but until now 007 has been keeping his impressive collection of vehicles scattered across the world.
However, that's all about to change with the opening of the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum, which will see the largest collection of original James Bond cars ever assembled, and is set to go on display from March 31st.
In case you don't happen to own an Aston Martin like the famous double agent, the the London Film Museum can be reached in just a few short minutes on the tube from the Montcalm Hotel Marble Arch, and is located in Covent Garden.
The groundbreaking exhibition will feature cars from almost every James Bond film, with the original models driven by actors like Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Daniel Craig and others all being brought to the heart of London.
Among the most impressive vehicles on show will be the actual Aston Martin DB5 driven by Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye, as well as the stunning Rolls Royce Phantom III which Connery drove in Goldfinger.
Other impressive vehicles set to go on display in the heart of London include the Little Nellie helicopter from You Only Live Twice, a Ford Mustang which was involved in some high-speed action sequences in Diamonds are Forever, the Aston Martin Vanquish which came fitted with an 'invisibility mode' in Die Another Day, and the slightly less glamorous but equally iconic Honda Motorcycle driven by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.
This really is the ultimate experience for all fans of the Bond franchise, or anyone with an interest in cars and other vehicles - and as it's located right next to the London Transport Museum it provides a great opportunity to visit two fascinating exhibition spaces in one trip.
