Kylie Minogue set to play in London
When it comes to live music, there are few cities on the planet that can match London in terms of the quality and quantity of international mega-stars that flock here to perform on a regular basis.
Whatever genre you happen to be into, you can be pretty sure that your favourite artists will be taking to the stage in the capital at some point, and if pop is your thing then you're in luck, because Australian singer Kylie Minogue has recently announced plans to play two shows at London's world-famous O2 Arena.
Having first risen to prominence by starring in the popular soap opera Neighbours, Kylie has been a major cultural figure both in the UK and Down Under for nearly three decades, and since dedicating herself to music she has produced some massive hits.
Among her most famous songs are the likes of Spinning Around, I Should Be So Lucky, Can't Get You Out of My Head and Especially For You - with the latter having been recorded with her former boyfriend and Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan.
The Ausie singer will be in London on September 29th and 30th, when she will take to the stage to perform a number of tracks from her brand new album Kiss Me Once, as well as several of her classic hits.
Known for her lively and at times extravagant stage shows, Kylie has a reputation as one of the best live performers in pop music, and anyone who wants to see her strutting her stuff in one of the world's top live music venues can do so by visiting London this autumn.
The O2 Arena is located in North Greenwich, which is just 15 minutes from the Montcalm Hotel Marble Arch on the Jubilee Line.
