London College of Fashion opens pop-up store
Fashion minded guests staying in luxury London hotels may be interested to hear that the London College of Fashion (LCF) is hosting a number of discount days in its new college shop.
With discounts as large as 30 per cent, visitors can pick up the next big fashion trends in the school's pop up retail space.
"LCF is proud to announce the opening of college shop, its first ever pop up retail space in the heart of the West End; located in Kingly Court, a haven of independent shops, just off London’s famous Carnaby Street," commented the college.
"The shop will run for just three weeks, stocking unique and one-off creations by its legion of multi-talented alumni."
Aspiring for a boutique gallery feel, shoppers will be able to pick up luxury, affordable pieces by rising stars in the fashion industry.
Stock will rotate daily, allowing clients to discover beautiful one-off designs from recent graduates in womenswear, menswear, footwear, accessories, jewellery, fashion photography and illustration, among others.
Among the best LCF graduates from the last five years are William Tempest, Ada Zanditon, Beatrice Boyle and Hasan Hejazi.
"Each piece will have a unique item number, and will be signed by the designer, with an accompanying statement of authenticity," explains the organiser. ï»¿
"Pieces will be wearable but luxurious and have been selected by a buying team including Angela Quaintrell - former buying director at Liberty."
Prices start at just £20 and climb to over £400, however, the average price of items is between £100 and £250.
