Up at the O2 announces special Halloween show
If heights don't scare you then you might think the idea of walking over the London O2 is a piece of cake, but give it a go this Halloween and you could be in for a truly hair-raising experience thanks to the creation of a brand new show.
Up at the O2, which takes visitors on a walkway 52 m in the air over the top of the famous attraction, will be haunted by all manner of ghosts and ghouls from October 18th to November 3rd with the launch of Climb of the Cursed: The Final Ascent.
Featuring live actors, the experience is based on a lost explorers theme and will give visitors the chance to see the London skyline lit up from on high on the spookiest night of the year, surrounded by creepy characters and eerie apparitions.
The haunted climb will involve a number of surprises and immersive Halloween storytelling to really transport participants into a lost world full of terrifying creatures, and is open to anyone over the age of ten years old and 1.2 m tall.
The O2 can be found by North Greenwich tube station, which is on the Jubilee line, and is home to a number of other wonderful attractions.
These include the British Music Experience and IndigO2 (the centre's world famous live music venue), as well as a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants. It also boasts an 11-screen cinema complex and has become one of London's most popular leisure facilities since opening in 2007.
Advance tickets for Climb of the Cursed at Up at the O2 are currently available online, priced at "£25 for day climbs and £30 for night climbs.
Anyone who doesn't feel brave enough to take on the walk over the Halloween period can visit Up at the O2 at any other time of year, with the attraction offering amazing panoramic views of the capital.
