Watch the Superbowl in London
While most people associate London more with its Premier League football teams than with American football, there's no doubt that the popularity of gridiron is increasing the capital, with Wembley Stadium hosting several regular season NFL games a year.
In fact, London is now one of the cities that's most connected with the US's favourite sport, with huge amounts of effort being put into developing the game's profile on this side of the pond – and it seems to be working.
NFL fever has gripped the capital in recent times, which means there's no better place to watch the Superbowl than London.
Taking place on February 2nd, the NFL's grand final is set to be a real showpiece occasion once more, and several bars and pubs around London are pulling out all the stops to make it a night to remember.
Jetlag in Fitzrovia, for example, is hosting an American football-themed evening, with a screening of Any Given Sunday at 19:00 before showing the match live when it kicks off at 23:00 local time.
There'll be an all-you-can-eat menu to make sure no one goes hungry while watching the match, while the bar's selection of quality craft beers should provide the perfect complement to a night of top sporting action.
Elsewhere, Zigfrid von Underbelly in Shoreditch is also set to host its own Superbowl party on the evening of the big match, with food being served all night and no entry fee. Located in one of London's trendiest areas, it's always a great place to come to soak up the atmosphere, and this is likely to be especially true on February 2nd.
Further south, meanwhile, the Clapham Grand and Honky Tonk (also in Clapham) are both putting on special screenings of the Superbowl, which will see the Seattle Seahawks take on the Denver Broncos at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
