Act like a big kid in London this summer
The summer holidays are about to begin, so whether you've got children and are looking for ways to keep them entertained over the coming weeks, or are feeling like a big kid yourself and want to get in on all the fun, London is certainly the place to be.
There are loads of events and activities to enjoy over the next couple of month that youngsters will absolutely love, although there is no age limit on any of these, so there's no reason to feel that you're too old to take part.
For instance, if you're looking for a thrill then why not take a speedboat tour of London along the Thames? There really isn't a more exhilarating way to see the sights of the capital, and the experience will certainly appeal to the kid in you.
London RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) Tours depart from the London Eye and Victoria Embankment, and involve whizzing down the river at top speed, thereby introducing a real adrenaline kick to your sightseeing experience in the city.
Of course, if it's adrenaline you're after then you'll find loads of white-knuckle roller coasters and other rides at the various theme parks that are dotted around - or within a few miles of - the Greater London area.
Thorpe Park, for instance, is home to high-speed attractions like Stealth, Nemesis Inferno and many others, while at Chessington World of Adventures you'll find rides like Ramses' Revenge, which is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
Of course, being a kid isn't all about travelling at top speed, and you'll find lots of other fun attractions around London that are perfect for children of all ages - and adults too.
The Namco Funscape County Hall, for example, is located on Westminster Bridge Road - which, incidentally, is easily accessible from the Montcalm Hotel Marble Arch - and boasts a fantastic video games arcade as well as other activities like bumper cars, bowling, simulators and more.
