Get in the mood for the World Cup with a football-themed trip to London
With the World Cup in Brazil now just a few weeks away, people across the globe are starting to come down with a pretty serious case of football fever, and if you don't have a ticket to South America but are feeling the need to get your footy cravings out of your system then a trip to London could be the next best thing.
Of course, the domestic football season is drawing to a close, which means things are now starting to get pretty exciting in all four divisions of the Football League. You could, for example, watch Queens Park Rangers as they battle it in the Championship play-offs for a place in the Premier League.
Alternatively, you may want to take a tour of one of the capital's many top-flight football grounds. Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, for example, is one of the swankiest sporting arenas in the world, while nearby you'll find Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane - and with the club having recently announced plans to move into a brand new stadium in just a few years' time, chances to tour the current ground may soon become somewhat scarce.
Of course, all eyes will be on England once the World Cup kicks off in Brazil, and if you'd like to learn more about the history of the national team as well as get an idea of what it feels like to play in an international match, then taking a tour of Wembley Stadium is the perfect solution.
By doing so, you'll have the chance to enter the players' dressing rooms and even walk down the tunnel and onto the pitch.
Once you're done getting your football fix, you'll need somewhere comfy to rest your legs and recharge your batteries, so why not consider spending the night at the luxurious Montcalm Hotel?
