Olympia to host London International Horse Show
One of London's key conference venues is to host the forthcoming London International Horse Show.
The seven-day event begins on December 17th and is a must for all horse fans staying in central London hotels in the run-up to Christmas.
The very first Royal International Horse Show took place in the Grand Hall Olympia in 1907 and it has developed into one of the world's most popular annual equestrian events.
Visitors will be able to enjoy world cup show jumping and dressage as well as performances from Lorenzo the Fying Frenchman and the Ukrainian Cossacks.
The show jumping events include qualifiers for the Rolex FEI World Cup with Puissance and the Grand Prix as well as a special speed event.
There will also be a number of new equestrian displays from the Kennel Club Dog Agility and the Shetland Pony Grand National. The whole event ends with the special Christmas Finale, which this year has an exciting circus theme and is bound to be entertaining for those lucky enough to have tickets.
Many of the world's top riders are attracted to the show in the heart of London and more than 200 exhibitors are expected to attend, which means a great chance to pick up the perfect Christmas presents for riders and horses.
Tickets can be booked in advance and prices vary depending on the event taking place on the day but further details can be found on the show's official website.
Olympia is next to the Kensington (Olympia) station on the London Overground and is one stop from Shepherd's Bush on the Central line and West Brompton on the District line.
