One Direction to play London
The top boy band of the moment will play nine dates in total this year at London's O2 Arena.
One Direction first caught the attention of the public when they finished third on the 2010 X Factor, trailing behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle.
The band, consisting of Liam, Harry, Zane, Niall and Louis, were then signed up to mentor Simon Cowell's record label Syco and immediately became a worldwide success.
During the past two years, One Direction have had two number one singles and two hit albums. Up All Night was also the first debut album from a British group to top the US Billboard 200 and hit number one in 16 countries.
Fans staying in central London hotels will be able to see One Direction perform at the O2 Arena for nine nights between February 22nd and April 5th as part of their UK tour.
Tickets are already selling out quickly, so fans staying in central London hotels to see the boys will need to act quickly to reserve their seats.
The O2 is within walking distance of the North Greenwich tube station on the Jubilee line and is one of the capital's major entertainment venues. Its volume is equal to 13 Albert Halls, ten St Paul's Cathedrals or two old Wembley Stadiums
