Pippin set to arrive at Menier Chocolate Factory

Theatre-loving tourists in luxury London hotels this November can catch the opening of Pippin at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

A dark, comic, coming-of-age play tells the story of Pippin, heir to the throne of Charlemagne, who is searching for "beauty, glory, fame and magic" on a voyage of self-discovery.

While on this voyage, Pippin has to come to grips with the darker worlds of lust, war and politics.

"The Menier Chocolate Factory's new version of Pippin has been completely re-conceived, incorporating Bob Fosse's original Tony Award-winning routines, by director and choreographer Mitch Sebastian," commented organisers.

Pippin has been described as a "high quality music show with a difference", with bookings already accepted for the show's debut November 22nd, with the performance coming to an end February 25th 2012.

The new arts venue and former factory has been a full time producing house since 2004 and comprises of a theatre, restaurant, bar and rehearsal space.

Making use of the renovated factory space, the restaurant offers both an a la carte menu as well as a set menu.

"Our head chef has created a delicious new menu to suit all tastes and appetites," explained the venue.

"Whether you are looking for a business lunch, a casual meal with friends, a formal dinner party, a birthday bash or just a catch up and a gossip over a glass of wine and some nibbles, we have something for you."

Other productions at the Menier Chocolate Factory include Accomplice: London which is in its final four-week run.
