As a valued and regular guest we would like to advise you of the forthcoming events:   The Wines from Alvaro Domecq, Wednesday 12th April 2006 at 7.00pm The wines of Rioja and Rueda made by the famous Domecq family, steeped in tradition and history. Ignacio Domecq and Julie Jackson will guide us through an evening dedicated to the rich full-bodied wines from the Domecq Family and the Robert Parker rated wines from Navarra, the estate of Palacio de Otazu. Enjoy with us these exciting new wave wines from traditional areas together with a tasty meal. Tickets are priced at £55.00 per person including a reception with canapés, wine and a 3-course meal in The Marquis de Montcalm Suite   Italian Wine Tasting Dinner, Tuesday 16th May 2006 at 7.00pm Founded in 1945 by Giovanni Simoni in Palu di Giovo, the attractive Casata Monfort Estate north of Trentino is a dynamic newcomer in a region with ancient wine making roots. Now managed by Giovanni’s grandsons, the winery has been awarded many accolades for its red and white wines, recently receiving the gold medal at the International Wine Challenge for the Trentino Pinot Grigio 2004. Paola Lenzi, Export Director of the Casata Monfort Estate, will be our expert on the night. Tickets are priced at £55.00 per person including a reception with canapés, wine and a 3-course meal in The Marquis de Montcalm Suite   Domaine Henri Bourgeois Tasting Dinner, Wednesday 14th June 2006 at 7.00pm Since 1765 the Bourgeois family has been cultivating vines in the heart of the Sancerre district of the Upper Loire Valley and is now in its 10th generation. Their wines are textbook examples of their appellation and this year have been awarded White Wine Maker of the Year in the Loire Valley. Arnaud Bourgeois will take us through some of their finest produce, which are perfect matches with our Head Chef’s menu.
