The Food

Aqua Nueva

If you like Spanish cuisine, a rooftop terrace and a healthy selection of cocktails, Aqua Nueva is for you. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see the giant bull guarding the entrance.

Aqua Nueva does a great job of dividing its menu between classic Spanish fare and contemporary dishes, providing options whether you like Iberian ham croquettes or suckling pig belly and baked celeriac – both of which are great by the way. It’s the perfect place to cap off an evening in London before retiring to your Montcalm Hotel, London.

Veeraswamy

At Veeraswarmy, you not only get amazing Indian food and a lovely interior, you also get to visit the oldest Indian restaurant in the whole country. Founded back in 1926, this amazing restaurant overlooks Regent Street and deals in classic Indian recipes.

Veeraswarmy prides itself on its ever-evolving menu, which changes with the seasons. They have a healthy wine list, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails on offer. It’s not just a great place to eat, it’s a piece of London’s history.

The Drinks

Ralph’s Coffee and Bar

We said Regent Street was ultra-hip and, as if to prove it, Ralph Lauren has his own bar right in the middle of it all.

Ralph’s Coffee and Bar is a warm, eclectically designed space that fits perfectly with the Regent Street aesthetic. It’s the perfect spot to rest tired feet and indulge in a cocktail and shared platter of food. Or you can always treat yourself to the lobster eggs benedict and a glass of bubbly – whichever suits. It’s the perfect venue for a relaxing bite to eat before heading back to your Montcalm Hotel London.

Shampers

Going strong since 1977, Shampers is hugely popular with locals and it’s easy to see why.

It’s quite a small venue, so you might want to try and hit it up at a quiet time – but there are tables outside for some al fresco drinks. It’s not far from our many luxury hotels in London, and a great place to get a feel for the local vibe.

Liberty

Housed in a 1920’s mock-Tudor frontage, Liberty has been operating as a London favourite since 1875.

It’s an amazing emporium, offering everything from designer clothing to vintage fare. The interior is solidly earthy and up-market, but also feels very old London and like a meeting point between high-end shopping and history. It’s a great place, and not far from your Montcalm Hotel London, so get yourself down there.

Hamleys

One for the kids, Hamleys covers 54,000 square feet and seven floors. In fact, it’s officially the biggest toy shop in the world. Kids will lose their minds, and you might too.

Hamleys stocks everything from the most classic of children’s toys up to modern toys and gadgets. For children in the group, it’s basically paradise. For adults, it’s a great excuse to play around with all manner of toys from childhood.
