The Harrods Summer Sale is now on and guests taking advantage of special offers on London hotels will be able to find even more great bargains on luxury clothing and gifts.
Shop the famous Harrods Summer Sale launched in-store on Saturday 30th June 2018 (30 JUNE 2018 – 22 JULY 2018) & treat yourself or loved ones to designer accessories, luxury beauty and shoes. With a fantastic range of designer fashion, shoes, accessories, beauty and remarkable homewares at up to 50% off – there’s never been a better time to visit Harrods.
Launched by actress Gemma Arterton, the retail event is the most anticipated of the year and the first day saw shoppers flock to the Knightsbridge store in anticipation.
Speaking at a red carpet event to mark the beginning of the sale, the James Bond star said Harrods has always been one of her favourite stores.
“I’m thrilled they invited me along to open the best sale in the world,” she told shoppers. “Ladies and gentlemen, all I can say is get ready, get steady, shop.”
There will be up to 50 per cent off selected brands at the Harrods Summer Sale, which will run until July 10th. Discounts will be on offer on footwear, homeware, beauty products and much more.
Some of the biggest bargains include an Yves Saint Laurent dress reduced from £1,200 to £600, a Panasonic HD plasma television brought down from £999 to £499 and a La Prairie skin caviar set at £270, reduced from £378.
Harrods is located on Brompton Road, just a 20-minute walk from The Montcalm hotel, on the opposite side of Hyde Park.
The store itself encompasses seven floors across 4.5 acres and sees more than 15 million customers a year pass through its doors.
On the ground floor, shoppers will find the famous food hall, as well as menswear and beauty products. Upper floors are dedicated to womenswear, furniture, home entertainment, children’s toys and sports and leisure products.
There are also a number of fine dining restaurants within Harrods, such as the Terrace Bar and the dei Frescobaldi Tuscan restaurant, where visitors can enjoy a spot of lunch.
During the sale and until July 30th, shoppers will be able to enjoy late night opening until 9pm on Monday to Saturday.
