Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre performs Gershwin classic

Musical fans may be interested in booking luxury hotels in London to attend Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of George and Ira Gershwin’s comedy classic Crazy For You.

The musical comedy boasts many of the pair’s most popular songs, including I Got Rhythm, Someone To Watch Over Me, Embraceable You and Nice Work If You Can Get It.

From the creative group behind 2009’s multi-award winning production of Hello,Dolly!, the Open Air Theatre performance will be directed by Timothy Sheader, with chorography by Stephen Mear and designs by Peter McKintosh.

Reduced price previews are available from July 28th through to August 6th, while performances come to a close on September 10th.

Located in the heart of Regent’s Park, visitors can enjoy a pre-show dinner at any number of restaurants or bring their own picnics.

The theatre even offers a Dining Club deal for £29, which includes reserved covered seating before the show and during the interval, with food and drink pre-laid at the table.

However, you can only book a table four days prior to the performance and seating is limited to 20 places.

A pre-theatre hot and cold buffet is also available from Monday to Saturday performances, offering a varied menu of snacks, meals and desserts.

Guests are encouraged to dress as smart or casually as they please, however, the theatre is entirely outdoors so attendees are reminded to prepare for all weather types.

Regent’s Park is just a ten minute walk from Baker Street underground station, which is a short journey from The Montcalm hotel, via Marble Arch station.
