Swift

12 Old Compton St, London, W1D 4TQ

Bars in London

Situated in the heart of Soho, this trendy bar has two unique sides. There’s the airy, sparkling bar on the ground level, with mirrored walls and light snacks on offer. Downstairs, you’ll find a moody, dark basement lounge, perfect for sipping a nightcap with a date or a friend. Unmissable cocktails here include the Sgrroppino – prosecco-based with dreamy sorbet floating on the top – and the Amber Cane, a new take on the traditional Manhattan with dark rum over whiskey. Best of all, this Soho location means it’s just minutes away from our luxury accommodation in London. Got time for a Swift one?

Victorian Bath House

Bishopsgate Churchyard, London, EC2M 3TJ

Step inside this beautiful Grade II listed building and into a world of authentic Victorian grandeur and decadence. This lavishly decorated venue features cosy alcoves and grand spaces for private parties – and attendance is strictly ‘by appointment only’. Each booth comes with its own Butler Bell – this calls a butler over to your table for top-ups and new orders. Decanter booths come with a range of delightful infusions, and the so-called Shampoo Room contains a bathtub filled with rainbow coloured beverages. This is old-world indulgence like you’ve never seen it before.

The Connaught Bar

The Connaught, Carlos Place, London, W1K 2AL

Bars in london

Located in luxurious Mayfair, this deceptively low-key bar serves some of the most amazing cocktails in the city. The cocktail menu is packed with originals, including the Bloody Mary and the Tom Collins. Order a classic Martini and the staff will wheel an authentic drinks trolley over to your table and make your drink before your very eyes. Experimental cocktails also include the Globetrotter (champagne-based, with berries and rose petals, served in a glass globe) and the Mysterious Woodland (infused with cocoa nibs, beetroot and mandarin bitters).

The Blind Pig

58 Poland St, Soho, London W1F 7NR

Bar in London

The Blind Pig is Jason Atherton’s flagship bar, and recently drew attention for its fantastic new cocktail menu, inspired by children’s literature. It may seem an odd thing to draw inspiration from, especially when alcohol beverages are involved, but these drinks must be tasted to be believed. We particularly like the Hunny Pot (inspired by Winnie the Pooh), Rabbit’s Remedy (inspired by Peter Rabbit) and Half a Pint o’ Buttah (inspired by Harry Potter).
