Whether you’re planning for the big day, or are just love an opportunity to check out some options for the future, the Wedding Fair is the place for you. With everything from catwalks to cake tastings it looks to be a very exciting weekend for anyone planning their wedding. Make your way down to the Excel Centre and get in on the action!

What to Wear?

Finding the perfect wedding dress can be fiendishly difficult. Finding the outfit that you love now, will love on the day, and which will continue to make you happy for years afterwards is a real challenge. Like everything about a wedding; it’s a big commitment. The Wedding Fair will help you decide with eight beautiful catwalks over the two days. All the best brands will be on display in styles ranging from traditional to modern. You are sure to find something that fits your dream. Grooms don’t need to feel left out; there is a catwalk for you too.Everything on display can be tried out on the day.

What will we Eat?

Catering is of course a core part of your wedding plans. Providing a delicious bridal cake and an exquisite dinner are important for making sure you and your partner are not the only ones who enjoy your big day. Thankfully both are covered by the Wedding Fair. Free canapé tastings are available throughout the weekend with opportunities to discuss menu ideas and get advice on meal options. Then there are the Wedding Cakes. Cake styling has reached truly artistic levels and some of the masters are available to help you decide what the perfect cake for your big day is. Various themes are available for people who like to keep things a bit more interesting and the bakers themselves are on hand to discuss options with you. Tastings and stylish displays are available to help you decide on the best option for your day.

Where to Hold it?

Sadly the Wedding Fair doesn’t provide much guidance in choosing a venue for your wedding. Since they’re being so unhelpful we here at Montcalm thought we would help out a bit by throwing our hat in the ring. The Montcalm London Marble Arch hotels has two excellent venues for receptions including the Grand Ballroom with room for up to 600 guests. The other option is the Crescent, a bright and welcoming event space with high ceilings, four skylights, a stunning marble floor and room for 60 people at a banquet.
