A thrill-seeker’s guide to London

If you’re the type of person that loves to live life on the edge and feels happiest when your heart is racing, a trip to London will help you get the adrenaline rush you’re looking for.

For those looking to relax at the Montcalm London, afternoon tea Marble Arch is a great way to de-stress. However, if you need something a little more fast-paced and a lot more thrilling, we’ve put together a list of exciting events and attractions that are sure to give you a rush.

White-water rafting

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London

If you’ve never experienced the thrill of rushing down the rapids and fighting the current, this fun-filled experience is perfect for you. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park boasts some of the most cutting-edge facilities in the world and the white-water rafting experience allows you to tackle the same waters some of the world’s best athletes competed in. Whether you’re travelling with your partner or a group of friends, this thrill ride is a great day out.

Orbit Abseiling

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London

If you do decide to spend the day at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, be sure to check out the ArcelorMittal Orbit. The 376ft-tall structure is a work of architectural art and was designed as a symbol of British creativity during the build-up to the 2012 Olympics. The structure is more than just a sculpture though, it features a giant tube slide and a platform for abseiling. Feel the thrill as you strap yourself in and make your way down the side of the Orbit.

Ghoulish tour

London

There are plenty of ways to explore London, from open-top bus tours to street art walks but if you’re looking for a thrill, there are some great alternatives. If you fancy yourself a ghost hunter, take part in one of the city’s ghoulish ghost walks or hop on the popular ghost bus and track down all of the haunted locations in London. Alternatively, join the Jack the Ripper tour and feel your hairs stand on end as you explore the dark backstreets of the East End and learn more about how the infamous killer terrorised locals.

Thames speedboat

River Thames, London

If you feel the need for speed during your time in the city, head over to the famous River Thames for an experience that is sure to get your heart racing. There are numerous ways to see the sights of London’s major waterway but none quite as thrilling as this. Take your seat on the boat and watch the landmarks of London fly by as you zip across the water.

O2 Arena Bungee Jump

Peninsula Square, London

Nothing quite beats the thrill of plummeting towards the ground at break-neck speeds. Even with the confidence that you will bounce back up, bungee jumping is still one of the most adrenaline-pumping activities you can do in London. Make your way over to the iconic O2 Arena and strap yourself in for an experience you won’t soon forget.
