Featuring a beautiful Bavarian style village where you can browse the many stalls and pick up some traditional handcrafted gifts or souvenirs from your stay in the capital as well as a daily Santa parade that travels around the event space, the Winter Wonderland is great fun for children and adults alike.

There’s also an outdoor cinema screen showing your favourite Christmas movies and some fantastic live shows that you can enjoy – providing you book your tickets in advance as they can be very popular.

The Winter Wonderland also has one of the largest outdoor ice-skating rinks in London. If you are thinking of taking to the ice during your stay in London, don’t forget to book yourself into the Montcalm Spa the next morning to help soothe those tired muscles.

Opening times

The Winter Wonderland is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, so there’s no reason to rush your leisurely lunch or breakfast from the Hankies Marble Arch Menu.

However, the Wonderland can get particularly busy from 6 pm onwards at weekends so if you wanted to beat the crowds then arrange to stay at one of our 5-star hotels in London during the week and you’ll be able to experience the event without the long queues. How to get there

Hyde Park is very easy to reach from almost anywhere in London thanks to the city’s fantastic public transport and Tube network. Our 5-star hotels in London are centrally located to make getting to the Winter Wonderland simple and straightforward, so just hop on the Tube and disembark at Paddington.

From there, its just a few minutes’ walk to the north entrance of Hyde Park and you’ll be able to stroll through gardens and trees at this beautifully maintained public space until you reach your destination.

The Winter Wonderland is pretty hard to miss, especially with its beautiful lights and huge Ferris wheel, so you’ll be getting into the festive spirit in no time.
