The popular Southbank Centre in the heart of London will be hosting the annual Christmas Chocolate Festival this weekend (December 7th until December 9th).
Ideal for chocolate fans staying in central London hotels, the event will last three days and will feature a whole host of exhibitors and retailers.
Anyone looking for some choccy Christmas gifts will be able to purchase treats from chocolate makers such as Rococo, Valrhona, Original Beans, William Curley, Damian Allsop, Paul Wayne Gregory, Sir Hans Sloane, Paul A Young and L'Artisan Du Chocolat.
There will also be a number of tasting sessions at the festival to allow people to discover the more unusual chocolate goodies such as chocolate beer and chocolate chilli.
Admission to the festival is free and one of the main highlights is set to be the Chocolate Cookery Theatre. This will enable people to find out more about the uses and making of chocolate, with various experts being introduced by chef Valentina Harris.
"The Chocolate Festival is all about indulging your passion for chocolate and learning that it can actually be good for you!
"I want to show people the fun and creativity as well as the health benefits that come from this exquisite product!" explained Yael Rose, event director.
The theatre will also be the location for a free chocolate tasting with Martin Christy of Seventy% and a demonstration on how to create cocoa butter beauty products with Chocolate Ecstasy's Jennifer Earle and Katie Napper.
It is expected that the festival could attract around 100,000 people over the course of the three days and build on the success of the Spring Chocolate Festival, which was held in London earlier in the year.
