This Christmas, get into the magical spirit and visit the new ‘Hogwarts in the Snow’ exhibition at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.
You may have visited this attraction before, but this time round, you will find that your entire experience of JK Rowling’s world will be totally different. The castle has received a new iconic festive look as seen in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The Great Hall has been lined with holly, golden wreaths, mistletoe and eight gigantic Christmas trees.
As part of the exhibit, you can also enjoy a variety of festive costumes, such as the hand-knitted jumpers that Molly Weasley gives Harry and Ron for Christmas in the first film, the dress Luna Lovegood wears to the Slug Club Christmas party in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry’s famous cloak of invisibility.
Beyond the festive treats, fans of the books and movie franchise will be able to explore behind the scenes to get an insight into how the films were made. Whether it is the magnificent set pieces or the CGI dementors, there is sure to be something here that will please all ages. And even if you are not a fan of the series, you can still enjoy walking around this enchanted land and then enjoying a large glass of butterbeer at the end of the day.
If you are yet to feel the festive fervour, come over to Warner Bros and see Hogwarts like you have never seen it before. Expelliarmus!
