See A Doll's House in London
Later this month the hugely successful and popular A Doll's House will be returning for another stop at the Young Vic Theatre following sold-out performances in the past.
Olivier Award-winner Simon Stephens once again presents his English language version of Henrik Ibsen's wonderful show. Stephens, director Carrie Cracknell, Tony Award-winner Ian MacNeil and Hattie Morahan revive their roles in this production.
Morahan won the Critics' Circle and Evening Standard Awards for her portrayal of Nora in the show and people will have a chance to catch it all again at the Young Vic from March 28th to April 20th.
So visitors to the city haven't got long to book stays in central London hotels to catch a performance of this brilliant play.
The story is set at Christmas time in a small Norwegian town and Nora Helmer is excitedly planning surprises and presents for her family and friends. But beneath the surface of this happiness and domestic bliss lurks a horrid secret that Nora has kept from her husband and those around her for eight years.
Then on Christmas Eve a stranger comes to call who threatens to reveal the big secret, casting a shadow over her marriage and transforming the lives of the family forever. Powerful, moving and thought-provoking, this production is a wonderful play not to be missed.
Visitors to the city will be able to get their hands on tickets to see this critically acclaimed show from just £10, while the best seats in the theatre will set people back £32.50.
Getting to the theatre from your hotel in the city shouldn't provide too many problems as the Young Vic Theatre is situated just around the corner from the Southwark Tube stop.
