What to do in London in 2014
If you thought 2013 was a great year to be in London then the coming 12 months are set to be even better, with a huge number of fantastic events taking place across the capital throughout the year.
So, even those who recently paid the city a visit will find it's well worth coming back in 2014, as there's always something new to discover here, while anyone who has never been before will surely not want to miss out any longer.
For example, London has gained something of a reputation in recent years for its wonderful summer music festivals, which take place in the city's many iconic parks.
The fact that the British capital has more green space than any other major capital in the world is certainly put to good use, with a range of fantastic outdoor concerts and other live events held at various time of year.
To experience this for yourself, why not book a ticket to Field Day or Lovebox Festival, both of which will be taking place once more in Victoria Park next summer, and will feature stellar line-ups with some of the biggest name in music set to perform.
Alternatively, O2 Wireless Festival will be held in Hyde Park in July, providing yet another chance to take in an outdoor concert in the heart of the city.
If you prefer indoor gigs, however, then you'll find loads of venues throughout London, many of which will be hosting the biggest stars on the planet in 2014.
Justin Timberlake, for example, will be playing the O2 Arena in April, while boyband One Direction are set to appear at the iconic Wembley Stadium in June.
Of course, there's much more than just music to enjoy in London, and a night out at the theatre in the West End is a must for visitors to the city. As with all years, 2014 will see a number of world-class productions beginning in Theatreland, with Miss Saigon making its highly anticipated return to the capital while I Can't Sing! The X-Factor Musical will be debuting in March.
