Zippos Circus is coming to London this February half-term
There's always loads going on in London, although that doesn't stop parents from worrying about how to keep their kids occupied during the school holidays. Fortunately for those who are struggling to come up with things to do over the February half-term, however, Britain's most popular touring circus is just about to launch its latest show, with several performances in the capital this month.
Zippos Circus has recently announced its latest UK tour, which will take place from February 19th to March 18th and will see the company debut its new act, entitled Unchained.
As ever, audiences can expect a range of thrilling stunts, comedic moments and mind-boggling skills, and this latest production is also set to feature a number of brand new aspects, including a unique equestrian display.
On top of this, the show will include some seriously impressive contortionists, world-class jugglers, death-defying aerial acrobatics from Tropicana Troupe and some wonderful clowning around, with Italy's most prestigious clown group The Restellis providing the laughs.
Zippos Unchained will be presented by ringmaster Norman Barrett MBE, whose famous performing budgies have proven to be a major hit for many years, while audiences will also have the chance to see strongman Hercules, who returns to the circus due to popular demand.
The show will be opening at Brent Cross in north London on February 19th, with several performances being held at the site until March 2nd, following which Zippos will leave the capital behind and continue its tour around the country.
Tickets can be purchased for as little as £7, so if you're looking for a cheap, cheerful and thoroughly memorable day out that you and the kids can enjoy together this half-term then a trip to the circus is certainly something you should consider.
