Celebrate Christmas at Hogwarts this year
For around a decade until a couple of years ago, Christmas time meant the chance to see a brand new Harry Potter movie, with a new instalment of the popular series being released each December.
If you've been missing your annual dose of festive magic and want to experience the charm of JK Rowling's fantasy world once more this year then you are in luck, because Warner Bros Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter is getting a Christmas makeover.
Visiting the studios where many scenes from the movies were filmed is always a wonderful day out, regardless of the time of year you decide to go, although a trip to the venue this winter is set to be extra special.
From November 14th to January 6th, the studio will feature a snow-covered Hogwarts, with a number of Christmas trees decorating the Great Hall and plenty of holly and mistletoe to be found throughout the building.
Visitors will also be able to see the hand-knitted jumpers that Ron Weasley received as a Christmas gift in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, while the invisibility cloak that the boy wizard himself got for Christmas will be on display too.
A number of other festive props from the films will be on show this winter, including the dress that Luna Lovegood wore to the Slug Club Christmas party in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Located in Watford, Warner Bros Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter can be reached by taking a train from Euston to Watford, while those intending to drive will find the venue between junctions 19 and 20 of the M25.
Already a hugely popular attraction among locals and tourists alike, the studio is the only place for Harry Potter fans to be this Christmas.
