Find somewhere with a view
Arguably the easiest way to view London from the air is to find somewhere with a view. For a luxurious trip, you could always search for London 5 star hotels – choosing a room on one of our higher floors is a sure-fire way to ensure you get a good view. If you really want a room with a view however, there’s one place in London that should be the top of your list. The Shard. Standing at almost 310 meters, the Shard is one of the tallest buildings in Western Europe. Complete with many fine dining experiences, the Shard offers the perfect place to go to take in London from the air while eating an exquisitely prepared meal.
A bird’s eye view
Looking for a failsafe, local way to view London from the air without breaking the bank? If you’ve never taken a trip on the London Eye it’s time you did. Just across the river from the Montcalm London Marble Arch and surrounded by some fabulous London 5 star hotels the London Eye is accessible, affordable and everyone has to go on it at least once in their life. The London Eye also enables the viewer a perspective of London they’d never get anywhere else; a look at the City from the centre of the UK’s most famous river.
Take flight
For the very adventurous there’s one mode of transport that is perfect to view the city of London from high up in the clouds. A hot air balloon ride is one of the first ways we left the ground and remains a romantic, dream-like mode of transportation for anyone who wants to really get away from it all. Adventure Balloons perform exclusive dawn balloon rides over London, and take off sites are all within a few miles of the Montcalm London Marble Arch. Believe it or not hot air ballooning has been a popular pastime for around 200 years!
Get out of town
